  • ½ c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • ½ c. butter 1 stick
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 t. baking soda


  • Heat buttermilk, sugar and butter in a sauce pan until it reaches a boil.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda.
  • Pour into a mason jar and add an Ergo Spout® to serve.
  • Serve immediately with pancakes or waffles.
